There’s been a lot written about security in the connected home and how router vulnerabilities contribute to the overall problem. But how much of what’s being said is fact and how much is speculation?
We’ve aggregated the results of thousands of RouterCheck tests to create the first report on home WiFi security that’s based entirely on real-world conditions. We found that 85% of the networks tested had at least one vulnerability, and the average network had 1.8 vulnerabilities.
Many more findings are presented in this paper, along with recommendations to vendors that are based on our observations.
